We are Aad and Joriene van Meurs. We live with our three children in Zoeterwoude, The Netherlands, where we have our own farm. Our business consists of 95 milk cows and 22 sheep.
A number of years ago wanted we a dog. We decided to buy a border
collie. We wanted not only a dog for in house only, also a type of dog
that could work with in our business. In 1994 we bought a bordercollie
called Bob wich after 7 year died through a fateful accident. Since the
border 'virus' had taken us in the meanwhile vigorously, after a period
we bought our second dog. It became Lynn a Bleu Merle. With large ease
she did got us the cows and was a real help to us. I, Joriene, took her
for adroitness (Agility) and obedience. She allways found that very nice to do.
In the meantime she gave us 3 nests and she may now enjoy her 'retirement'.
In 2003 Lynn had our first nest bred of which we kept a black & white dog called Boo. From our second nest in 2004, we kept black & white bitch Freya and later on Spike from the same nest came back to us.
On the 24th of March 2006 brown & white bitch Spirit from the UK came to us.
From the first nest of Freya in 2006 we kept black & white bitch Fly.
In 2008 we deceided to keep Dutch and Gail, both black and white.
In 2010 we kept Borders of Sweetwood Dreamer (Megan), also black and white.

Our objective is: We strive to breed a healthy and work willing dog. Our dogs become, before we use them, checked on HD, OCD, LPC, LPA, INC, PRA, so that we can be certain of the fact that the parent animals that we use are extremely healthy and that the pups from one of our combinations are physical good to do the work which they are bred for.
Before we sell a pup, we find it nice to meet with the future owners.
Then they can take a look at all our dogs and see what type dog we
breed.
Our pups are bred by the rules of the Border Collie Club of the
Netherlands (BCCN) and have a family tree of the Council of Management.
They become chiped, superior worming and get with us a first enting. All
our dogs become sold with a contract, that will signed by the buyer as
by the seller on the day that you are going to get the pup from us. This
is for the buyer a security, but also for us as seller. We are eager to
see that the new owner will do an obediences course will do with the
pup. It is not ony great to have an obedienting dog, but it's also good
for the socialisation of the pup. Also after you came home with your pup
and there are still questions you are free to call us.
